TWO NIGHT INTENSIVE

Monologue Showcase Class
August 12th and 19th
Time: 6:30pm - 10:00pm

Instructor: Harry O'Reilly

Class Description:

Harry is the Creative Director of our studio. He truly enjoys working on the lost art of monologue performance with actors.

This class is a real difference maker and a great way to showcase your talent.

Students will need to bring two 2 minute contemporary monologues. Harry also has a large portfolio of monologues to work from.

Harry will be working with you on performance, interpretation, and presentation.

Use this class to refine your monologue work and showcase your talent.

Week One - Actors will exercise/rehearse and perform their pieces. You may choose your own monologues, or select from Harry's personal catalogue. Harry will give feedback and direction for each monologue.

Week Two - Showcase Week: The first half of this class will be a dress rehearsal in which each actor performs his or her monologue with notes etc.

The second half of the class will be the showcase.

***Each student will receive a DVD of the showcase and their performance.

***And a scheduled private coaching session with Harry during the week of the showcase.

This is a fun class but preparation and stamina is a must Go for it!

Jennifer Konowal - Gersh Agency
Jennifer is one of the top agents at the world renowned Gersh agency. She has clients in major motion pictures, television and Broadway.  Jennifer is excited to come back to the studio and meet more of our actors.

Meg Pantera - The Meg Pantera Agency
Meg is the owner of this boutique agency. She represents clients in television, film, and theater.  She represents a few members of our studio and is looking forward to meeting more of our talented actors.

Scotty Kreindler - Scotty Entertainment
Scotty is one of the top talent managers in the city. Scotty used to head the Handprint Entertainment New York office before going out on his own five years ago.  He represents Harry O'Reilly and a select group of young and older talented actors.  Scotty is looking forward to seeing and meeting new talent.

Diane Riley - Harden-Curtis Associates
The Harden-Curtis Agency has been in existence for over 30 years. This renowned boutique agency has clients working in every area of the industry. Diane has been a guest here before and has signed a few of our actors from past visits.

ONE NIGHT INTENSIVES:

Todd Thaler- Todd Thaler Casting
Wednesday August 18th
6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Todd is the owner of Todd Thaler Casting. He casts for T.V., theater, and film. Some of his film credits include- The Professional, Little Children, Running on Empty, and Pollock. A few of his T.V credits include- Wonderland and Ed. At the moment, Todd is casting two indie films- The Green and Recalled, as well as the TBS pilot Are We There Yet.

Please note that there will be no prepared sides for this class. Todd has requested that actors bring in their own material to work on. They may bring sides, a monologue, or any other material that they feel best highlights their work.

Sheryl Baker Fisher - ABC/ One Life To Live
Tuesday August 31st
6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Sheryl is the casting director for ABC's One Life to Live. She casts contracted roles, day players, and extras. Sheryl has called and cast more actors than any guest we have ever had here! She loves meeting new and interesting actors to work with and is also a wonderful instructor.

FACE TO FACES

David Vaccari - Telsey + Company
Tuesday August 10th
7 P.M.

David casts film, T.V., commercials, plays, and musicals for Telsey + Company. Recent film projects include Jonah Hex with Josh Brolin, Howl with James Franco, which opens Sundance 2010, Horton Foote's Main Street with Orlando Bloom and Gus Van Sant's Restless. Upcoming projects include Cloud 8 by Andrew Peterson and a new film from Peter Hedges of Dan in Real Life and Pieces of April.

Emily Gispon - JHA Management
Tuesday August 17th
6:30 P.M.

Emily Gipson is an associate manager at JHA Management. JHA is a management and production company that represents performing artists and produces/cast films, T.V., and commercials. Emily is always looking for new talent and especially enjoys developing up and coming artists. Her clients work in film, television and theatre.

Michael Rodriguez - The Roster Agency
Monday August 23rd
6:30 P.M.

Michael the former owner of Ugly Talent is actively seeking to meet new talented actors. He is a big fan of our studio and has signed many of our actors over the years.

    **Please be here 15 minutes before your audition time. This will keep you from being put into your audition without any preparation time.**

    Cancellation Policy: All cancellations for Face To Face must be made 48 business hours before your appointment.
    Intensives and classes must be canceled 72 business hours before the start date.

    **There will be a five dollar surcharge for credit cards for Face To Face’s**
