Casting
CALLERI CASTING: James was most
recently the head casting director
of the NY show Lipstick Jungle. He
casts many series, pilots, T.V.,
theatre and feature films. James is
a longtime friend and fan of our
studio. He has cast many of our
members in numerous projects through
his classes here. He is currently
working on a few N.Y. projects. He
is also a great instructor!
Film: Merchant Ivory’s upcoming The
City of Your Final Destination, also
Heights, The White Countess, Lisa
Picard is Famous, The Jimmy Show,
Ready? OK!, and Trouble Every Day.
Upcoming film- Peter & Vandy
(Sundance 09). Awarded five Artios
Awards for Outstanding Achievement
in Casting. Member CSA.
TV: Lipstick Jungle, Z Rock on IFC,
the critically acclaimed A Raisin in
the Sun on ABC, also Ed, Hope &
Faith, Monk.
Theater: 33 Variations with Jane
Fonda on Broadway, Fuerza Bruta
(from the creators of De La Guarda).
Past Broadway credits include: A
Raisin in the Sun, Chicago, James
Joyce’s The Dead. Other: Playwrights
Horizons (10 seasons), CSC Rep
including the recent Uncle Vanya and
Seagull. Also The Long Wharf, The
Flea, Soho Rep, stage FARM, The
Culture Project, Naked Angels, New
Georges, Epic, Clubbed Thumb, almost
every major regional theater in the
country, and many seasons of SPF
(Summer Play Festival) and NY Stage

Guest: Jandiz Estrada - Mackey
Sandrich- Feature Film Casting
Jandiz has been casting for 8 years
in NY for Film, TV, commercials &
Theater. She called a few of our
actors in for Showtime’s upcoming
new show MADSOS WAR from her last
class here. Later this year she will
cast the HBO original series "HOW TO
MAKE IT IN AMERICA" which will shoot
in NY.
Jandiz is currently working on a new
Universal film entitled "ADJUSTMENT
BUREAU" with Matt Damon and a
Millenium Films remake of the 70s
hit "THE MECHANIC" starring Jason
Statham. She also just completed the
new Disney Greg Kinnear/Miley Cyrus
film "THE LAST SONG" by Nicholas
Sparks and a comedy with Spyglass
titled "LEAP YEAR" with Amy Adams.
She also cast Disney’s "THE
PROPOSAL" starring Sandra Bullock &
Ryan Reynolds which opened to #1 Box
Office this weekend!
Jandiz has worked with ABC, CBS,
MTV, Avy Kaufman, Sheila Jaffe, Jay
Binder, and Elissa Myers. She has a
degree in writing and directing and
has worked creatively at the Public
Theater, Manhattan Theater Club, and
the New York Theater Workshop.

Guest: Mary Clay Boland- Head
casting director- “As The World
Turns”
Mary Clay is a three time Emmy Award
winning casting director for As the
World Turns. We are VERY excited to
have Mary Clay here to spend two
nights with our actors. She has been
casting contract roles and day
players for this top NYC soap opera
for over six years. She has also
cast projects independently with
Katharina Eggmann, and cast the
feature film The Best Thief in the
World starring Mary-Louise Parker.
Previously, Mary Clay worked for
Warner Bros. Television on films and
series including Everwood, The West
Wing, Gilmore Girls and Witchblade.
She also worked on the first two
seasons of The Sopranos as the
associate casting director with
Walken/Jaffe Casting. She is always
working on independent projects in
her free time, and she is happy to
be doing a class with us- she told
us so!

TO FACES
Jim Flynn –
Jim Flynn Talent Agency

Jim Flynn represents a select
list of mostly adult actors for
theatre and MP/TV. This is Jim’s
first time coming to our studio and
is looking forward to meeting our
actors after hearing the news that
we have the best actors in the city
at our studio.

Diakeim Lyles - Independent Casting
Director
Monday, July 13th
6:30 p.m.
Diakeim’s diverse training in
acting, film making and film editing
led him to pursue his career in film
and TV casting, assisting on
commercials and several independent
films, including “The Hebrew Hammer”
and “Death of Dynasty” with Damon
Dash. He was employed at Liz Lewis
Casting Partners for 9 years and has
worked on numerous commercial and
voice over castings with a specialty
in Comedy, Beauty and Kids. He now
works independently with various
casting houses in the New York area
(Beth Melsky Casting, Station Films,
broadcasters at HSR, House Casting).
Clients he’s casted for include
Kraft Singles, Toys ‘R Us, Jell-O,
PBS, MTV, Cheerios, Comedy Central,
Fig Newton’s, McDonalds, Motorola,
Maybelline, Verizon, N.J. Lotto,
Yale, British Airways, and Dove. In
addition, he was also one of Liz
Lewis Casting Partners’ main editors
for casting sessions and callbacks.

Diane Riley

from past meetings here.
Harden-Curtis is a long established
top agency in the industry. They

the industry and Diane is always

Wolf – Schiowitz, Connor, Ankrum and

Teresa Wolf is the co-owner
of this prestigious agency. They’ve
had NY Theatre clients for years and
that representation has increased.
They’re welcoming experienced adult
theatre talent submissions for
consideration. They also have an LA
office. Teresa currently represents
numerous actors in TV Series,
feature films, and on Broadway.
Teresa is excited to come in and
meet with our actors..
